Sasha Lizárraga

Registered Social Worker, MSW | Doula

Sasha is a registered Social Worker practicing in Ontario. She is of Mexican heritage and a devoted mother. Sasha has been on a lifelong journey to better understand emotions and what it means to be human. Her university and master’s coursework provided invaluable insights into the workings of the mind. Trainings with somatic practitioners furthered her understanding by teaching the vital role of the body and nervous system in the pursuit of lasting well-being.

Her learning journey took another transformative turn when she explored Family Constellations, which acknowledges our existence as part of something greater, offering pathways to release burdens and embrace life fully. This profound revelation deepened her spiritual understanding, enhanced her own healing, and continued shaping her therapeutic approach.

Today, Sasha integrates somatic therapy and Family Constellations principles by facilitating transformative shifts through embodied exercises, meditations, and mindful dialogue. In sessions, these shifts may happen externally as a healthy physical emotional release, internally as a new and enhanced sense of self in greater connection with others and the world, or at a soul level, widening the capacity to receive the boundless strength and love that comes from being in alignment with life.

Sasha specializes in tackling persistent issues and supporting women through various stages of motherhood. She is dedicated to working together on the journey towards lasting change and fulfillment.

Her formal certifications include a master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan, Family Constellations Facilitator, NGH Hypnosis, Somatic Psychology Training by Hakomi Institute, Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching certificate, Early Childhood Educator, and Doula certification by DONA International.

Jacob Damelin

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Jacob is a qualifying registered psychotherapist with the CRPO, as well as an alumnus of Yorkville University’s Counselling Psychology program. He has a background in the arts, having studied jazz piano at the Berklee College of Music for his undergraduate degree. The mental health challenges Jacob faced and overcame as a musician inspired him to study psychology. He wanted to scientifically understand the ways in which his mind had been working against him. Moreover, he sought answers as to how therapy and meditation helped change his brain chemistry for the better; changes that ultimately transformed his life.

He has a trauma-informed background in several modalities, including cognitive-behavioural therapy, cognitive processing therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, prolonged exposure therapy, exposure and response prevention, and Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR). He is also educated in the practice and pedagogy of mindfulness.
